Higbee's big opportunities return in 2021
Boom
Tyler Higbee, LA Rams
If Higbee can repeat his 2019 finish, he will push the big 3 for the top spot among fantasy TEs.
And it is possible in 2021.
The Rams have a new QB in Matthew Stafford, and Gerald Everett has moved to Seattle in the offseason, leaving Higbee with little competition at TE.
Higbee had 43 catches and four games with more than 100 yards receiving in the final five games of 2019, without Everett in the lineup.
Bust
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia
The big preseason hype was real early in the summer for Goedert.
However, going into the second weekend of preseason games, Zach Ertz remains on the Eagles roster and the two should continue to share the TE duties.
The two combined for 137 targets last season, and it appears they will be splitting targets again.
Sleeper
Anthony Firkser, Tennessee
There are so many factors which point to a big season for Firkser.
First, Jonnu Smith moved to New England, leaving 65 targets, and the Titans added future HOF WR Julio Jones.
Tennessee offense should be more passer friendly with former offensive coordinator Arthur Smith now the head coach in Atlanta.
With Jones and A.J. Brown on the outside, Firkser should see plenty of space over the middle of the field in an offense that is expected to finally surpass more than 500 passes attempted this season.
