NFL DFS Wild Card Weekend

The season is winding down but still time to win big

Oh, how I hate my spreadsheet this time of the season!

Just when my spreadsheet is heating up the season is winding down. The last two weeks have been my best of the season as the NFL Playoffs start this weekend.

My Top Plays last week has some mediocre results, but were good enough to be pieces of winning lineups.

This week I’m going to give my Top Plays from both Wild Card Saturday and Wild Card Sunday.

Today’s games I have a good feel despite being a two-game slate, but the Sunday slate could provide the big winner with rostered numbers more spread out.

The spreadsheet will be included at the bottom of my story the rest of the season.

Onto this week’s Top Plays:

Quarterback

Saturday

Justin Herbert, LA Chargers ($6,000, 24 percent rostered

Sunday

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia ($7,300, 5 percent)

Herbert may be one of the hottest QBs in the league for the last 3 weeks of the season. He’s scored 23.2 or more DraftKings points in his last 3 games. And he’s also doing it with legs, averaging 27.3 rushing yards in those three games. Houston has been solid at home defensively this season, but Herbert’s great play should not be ignored.

Yes, everyone will be heading to the Washington-Tampa Bay game for their QB, so I’m pivoting to Hurts, who’s returning from a concussion. Hurts will still be Hurts but may relinquish some goal-line carries to Saquon Barkley ($8,500, 82 percent). Plus, both A.J. Brown ($7,500, 44 percent) and DeVonta Smith ($5,700, 28 percent) both rank in my Top 5 this week for value despite playing Green Bay’s elite pass defense.

Running Back

Saturday

Derrick Henry, Baltimore ($8,200, 77 percent)

Sunday

Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay ($7,000, 77 percent)

Henry is the obvious choice and he will be in 100 percent of my lineups for today. I don’t believe I need to say much more as the Ravens are 9.5-point favorite.

Irving is the play for me to pivot away from the passing games in this game. Plus, Rachaad White only played 27 percent of the snap and didn’t receive a carry or a target. This is Bucky’s backfield.

Wide Receiver

Saturday

Ladd McConkey, LA Chargers ($6,800, 67 percent)

Sunday

Olamide Zaccheaus, Washington ($4,400, 12 percent)

McConkey is Herbert’s go-to guy. Since a missing Week 14 with an injury, McConkey has seen 31 targets and has averaged 19.39 DK points during that stretch. Plus, I have a sneaky feeling this game will go over the 41.5 total pretty easily.

Zaccheaus is here because of his usage and his price. He has seen 22 targets in the last three game since Noah Brown went on IR and has scored 3 times during that stretch. Zaccheaus emergence has allowed Jaylen Daniels to up his passing game.

Tight End

Saturday

Mark Andrews, Baltimore ($4,700, 35 percent)

Sunday

Zach Ertz, Washington ($4,300, 29 percent)

Andrews is a full go for me in all my lineups today. He has scored 10 or more DK points in six straight games, including 13.8 points vs. the Steelers in Week 16. One thing is Andrews has scored a TD in six straight as well. That streak could end tonight.

Ertz has been a vocal point in the Commanders 2 must win game at the end of the season. He had 12 targets and averaged 20.3 DK points in those games. He saw 4 targets vs. the Bucs in their Week 1 matchup in a game Daniels was more of a runner than a passer.

DST

Saturday

Baltimore ($3,700) home against Pittsburgh

Sunday

Denver ($2,400) at Buffalo
