DFS Thanksgiving

Giants-Cowboys should be your target game

It was ugly, but I will take it!

My cash lineup had a good start and held its position as most contestants were not on the late game standouts. In my $10 cash tournament, four of the top five scorers were owned by less than 4 percent of the field, saving my 105.02 point day.

It crazy how DFS works on any given week. I finished with 118.98 points in Week 10 and don’t even come close to the green, but last week, I believed DraftKings were zeroing on their pricing.

I think this holds true for the three-game Thanksgiving slate as well.

With today’s three-game schedule, my cash lineup will also be my GPP as I will only play one lineup today.

I will be providing my spreadsheet and main cash and GPP lineups on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru

Onto the Thursday’s players!

Quarterback

Top play

Dak Prescott, Dallas ($6,200): I expect this to be the most competitive game of the day with offense. Prescott had a big game last year on Thanksgiving without CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper, who plays for the Cleveland Browns now. He should be able to do the same with a healthy Lamb and his strong 1-2 punch at RB with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard.

Value play

Daniel Jones, NY Giants ($5,500): Same reasoning as Prescott – this game should be the most competitive of the three. Jones gives you a nice floor with legs, but a depleted WR corps could pose a problem.

Running back

Top play

Ignore Saquon Barkley ($8,000) & Dalvin Cook ($7,400)

Their matchups do not fit well with their prices on a small slate. If I had to pick one, it would be Cook with his expected low rostership numbers.

Value plays

Tony Pollard, Dallas ($6,600)

Rhamondre Stevenson, New England ($6,400)

Jamaal Williams, Detroit ($6,400)

Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas ($5,800)

Devin Singletary, Buffalo ($5,700)

I have no problem if you want to go with a double-stack Dallas RB lineup if you believe last week’s stats will continue. Stevenson, who saw 78 percent of the snaps last week, will be a workhorse as the Patriots try to limit Vikings’ explosive offense possessions. Williams – all he does is score TDs and he’s first in the league in red zone rushes. Singletary has seen 14 and 20 touches the last two weeks including 3 red zone rushing TDs.

Wide receiver

Top play

Ignore Justin Jefferson ($8,200) and Stefon Diggs ($8,000)

Jefferson is the second best value among WRs, according to my spreadsheet (available on Patreon), but his turf toe and a stingy NE defense has me concerned. We saw what a limited Josh Allen does to the Diggs. It could be the same this week because I believe Allen’s elbow issues are worse than we are being told.

CeeDee Lamb, Dallas ($7,100)

In his two seasons with the Cowboys, Lamb has not seen a Cowboys win on Thanksgiving. His first season was played without Dak and he missed last year’s Turkey Day game with a concussion. Plenty of motivation for the big game.

Value plays

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit ($6,600)

Jacobi Meyers, New England ($5,100)

Darius Slayton, NY Giants ($5,000)

The Lions are 9.5-point underdogs which should give St. Brown plenty of chances to see targets. If the Patriots want to control the game vs. the Vikings, they will do it with its running game and quick passes to Meyers. Slayton is the only healthy WR the Giants have and he should see a healthy amount of targets.

Tight end

Top play

Dalton Schultz, Dallas ($3,800): The Dallas offense seems to be peaking. Schultz is the only who hasn’t had a big game the last two weeks – he’s due.

Value play

Dawson Knox, Buffalo ($3,500): Knox has been the beneficiary of Allen elbow narrative. It should continue vs. the Lions defense which is 28th vs. TEs this season.
