More to success than just your DFS core plays
Week 1 of my DFS picks were a tough one.
San Francisco’s Trey Sermon was an unexpected inactive, while both my wide receiver picks bombed. Then add in Atlanta’s Kyle Pitts struggling to score DFS points.
At least my secondary players in my cash lineup saved me.
(With a 0 from the Atlanta DST)
I will be providing my main cash and GPP lineups on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru
Quarterback
High
Kyler Murray, Arizona ($8,200 DraftKings, $8,700 FanDuel): With Patrick Mahomes not on the main slate, Murray is the highest priced QB again on both sites, and he’s still worth it.
Low
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia ($6,500 DK, $7,800 FD): Hurts will be part of my cash lineup and one my sneaky stacks.
Running Back
High
Nick Chubb, Cleveland ($7,800 DK, $8,400 FD): Chubb provided top numbers last week and has a nice home matchup vs. Houston.
Low
Chase Edmonds, Arizona ($4,900 DK, $6,000 FD): I want as many viable parts in this game and Edmonds’ strength in the passing game is a bonus.
Wide Receiver
High
DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona ($8,000 DK, $8,500 FD): His ceiling may not be reached in this game, but his floor of 15+ points is as safe as they come.
Low
Tim Patrick, Denver ($4,600 DK, $5,400 FD): Patrick steps into the spot vacated by the injured Jerry Jeudy and should get at least 8 targets vs. Jacksonville.
Tight End
High
Darren Waller, Las Vegas ($7,600 DK, $7,000 FD): If Waller is targeted 19 times again, he will be the No. 1 TE for the second straight week.
Low
Adam Trautman, New Orleans ($3,000 DK, $4,500 FD): He played on 82 percent of the Saints plays and was targeted 6 times out of Jameis Winston’s 20 attempts.
Here are a few of my favorite cores (I avoid cash games on FanDuel):
DraftKings Cash Core
Hurts, Chubb, Keenan Allen, Trautman
Sneaky Stacks
Murray, Edmonds, Hopkins, Justin Jefferson
Hurts, Deebo Samuel, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert
