Rodgers primed for big game vs. Detroit
Let’s keep the momentum rolling!
I had a blistering Week 8, finishing with 195.34 points to earn the green in all my cash tournaments and GPP tournaments that I used my cash lineup.
I have had five players with fire emojis with 30 or more points. But the key to my lineup was using the minimum priced Sam Ehlinger in the quarterback spot. Ehlinger’s day could have been a little better than his 8.54 points if it wasn’t for some untimely penalties on a couple of his big run plays.
Oh well, I just hoped if you subscribed to my blog and took advantage of my Halloween treat of sending out my cash lineup to you. If you used the lineup or any suggestions from my weekly story send an email to thefantasyfbguru@gmail.com to let me know how you did!

Onto this week’s player pool!
Quarterback
Top play
Kyler Murray, Arizona ($7,400): I think Murray will be in a better scoring environment than Josh Allen. The Cardinals are a 2-point favorite with an over/under of 49 as they face Seattle for the second time in four weeks. Plus, Murray has rushed for 30 or more yards in four straight games.
Other QBs
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay ($5,900)
Geno Smith, Seattle ($5,800)
Justin Fields, Chicago ($5,300)
Rodgers has accounted for two or more TDs in six straight games vs. the Lions. Smith, similar to his counterpart Murray, is in a great game environment for points to be scored. Fields gives you a little salary relief while he’s rushed for 47 or more yards in six straight games.
Running back
Top play
Austin Ekeler, LA Chargers ($8,800): Ekeler has 28 targets out of the backfield in his last two game, and with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams out of the lineup, his targets should remain high.
Value plays
Travis Etienne Jr., Jacksonville ($6,300)
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England ($6,200)
D’Onta Foreman, Carolina ($6,000)
Antonio Gibson, Washington ($5,500)
Deon Jackson, Indianapolis ($5,200)
Without sharing the backfield for the first time, Etienne had a season-high 24 carries and continues to see work in the passing game. Stevenson should have the backfield to himself again and has caught all 15 of his targets the past two weeks. Foreman will have the backfield to himself again too coming off his 3-touchdown performance. With J.D. McKissic out, Gibson should still see plenty of work in the passing game. Jackson receives his chance to be the featured back with Jonathan Taylor (ankle) out.
Wide receiver
Top play
DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona ($7,900): Hopkins has seen 27 targets since his return from suspension. It shouldn’t change in a game that is expected to be a shootout.
Value plays
Terry McLaurin, Washington ($5,900)
Josh Palmer, LA Chargers ($5,100)
DeAndre Carter, LA Chargers ($4,300)
Zay Jones, Jacksonville ($4,100)
McLaurin has seen 8 targets in each game Taylor Heinicke has started at QB. Palmer should be the No. 1 WR in the Chargers’ depleted WR corps. Carter is No. 2 for the Chargers if he plays. Jones is more a GPP play but if you believe in the revenge narrative, he is your guy to play.
Tight end
Top play
Zach Ertz, Arizona ($5,100): The Cardinals targets are concentrated to Hopkins, Ertz and Rondale Moore and Seattle is the worst defense vs. TE scoring this season.
Cheap plays
Robert Tonyan, Green Bay ($3,800)
Evan Engram, Jacksonville ($3,300)
Foster Moreau, Las Vegas ($3,200)
Tonyan will be my TE in my cash core this week and has seen 22 targets in the last three games. Engram has four or more receptions in the last four games. Moreau is a cheap option if Darren Waller can’t go again.
