It's getting tough to stay positive on picks
The Forecast continues to be a tough go for me.
I barely can keep my head above water in my Straight Up picks, while my Best Bets continue to be very good fades for the weekend games.
My Straight Up picks were 7-7 last week, while the Best Bets again finished with only one win, going 1-4.
Survivor Picks continue to be solid with another 2-1 week as I’m sure most Survivor leagues are coming down their final players.
Let’s just get to the game and get another week over with!
(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)
Tennessee at New England (Patriots -7, 43.5 over/under): These two teams seem to be going in different directions. Patriots, 27-17
NY Jets at Houston (Texans -2.5, 44.5): The Texans have won the last three matchups by more than 2.5 points. Texans, 26-17
Philadelphia at NY Giants (Eagles -3.5, 45.5): Since 2014, the Giants have won only two games in this NFC East series. Eagles, 31-20
Tampa Bay at Indianapolis (Buccaneers -3, 52.5): The only time the Bucs have won in Indianapolis was in 1997. Buccaneers, 33-31
Atlanta at Jacksonville (Falcons -2, 46.5): I would not expect much scoring in this contest – these two teams have only combined to score more than 46 points once in their series. Falcons, 21-17
Carolina at Miami (Panthers -2, 42): The Dolphins own a 4-2 record in the series, but the Panthers have won the last two. Dolphins, 20-17
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (Bengals -3.5, 45): Until last season, the Steelers’ last loss in Cincinnati was in 2013. Steelers, 31-28
LA Chargers at Denver (Chargers -2.5, 48): In the past seven years, the Chargers have only won once in Denver. Broncos, 31-30
Minnesota at San Francisco (49ers -3, 49.5): Historically this series has seen low scoring games when the 49ers are the home team. 49ers, 23-20
LA Rams at Green Bay (Rams -1.5, 47): Matt Stafford has had some offensive success in Green Bay with the Lions. This year he has a better offense to work with vs. the Packers. Rams, 32-29
Cleveland at Baltimore (Ravens -3.5, 47): The Ravens and Lamar Jackson have scored 25 points or more in five straight games vs. the Browns. Ravens, 37-21
Seattle at Washington (Seahawks -3, 49.5): These two teams seem to be heading in different directions but the oddmakers like the Seahawks. Seahawks, 24-21
