Can Washington remain the hottest team in the
NFC East as it faces division-leading Dallas?
Getting back on the right path has given me some confidence for another successful week of picks.
I finished with a mediocre 8-5 week in my Straight up picks, but it was my Best Bets that have me feeling well.
I finished last week with a 4-1 mark with Buffalo letting me down in their crazy windy weather game loss to New England in the Monday Night Game.
Add in my last two Thursday Best Bets as winners, I’m on an encouraging 6-1 run. Let’s hope it continues this weekend.
My Survivor picks were also successful last week with a 3-0 record.
Onto the picks!
(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)
Las Vegas at Kansas City (Chiefs -10, over/under 48): The Chiefs have been winning games with their defense this year more than their offense. Chiefs, 27-17
New Orleans at NY Jets (Saints -5.5, 43): I would not expect a lot of offense in this game. Saints, 21-17
San Francisco at Cincinnati (49ers -1.5, 48.5): The favorite has flipped since the line first opened. I think the original line was correct. Bengals, 24-21
Jacksonville at Tennessee (Titans -8.5, 43.5): Both teams’ offenses have been horrible for the past month. I’ll go with the home team. Titans, 23-10
Baltimore at Cleveland (Browns -2.5, 42.5): The weather could play a factor in this game. Ravens, 21-14
Atlanta at Carolina (Panthers -3, 41.5): The Panthers will have a new offensive scheme in their new OC’s first game. Panthers, 23-17
Dallas at Washington (Cowboys -4.5, 48): The Football team HAD been the hottest team in the NFC East. Cowboys, 27-24
Seattle at Houston (Seahawks -8.5, 40.5): I think the odds makers forgot the Seahawks are a bad team too. Seahawks, 20-13
Detroit at Denver (Broncos -10.5, 42): Injuries and health protocols in the Detroit backfield explains the big spread. Broncos, 30-17
NY Giants at LA Chargers (Chargers -9.5, 43): This is a trap game for the Chargers with a Thursday matchup vs. Kansas City next week. Chargers, 21-17
Buffalo at Tampa Bay (Buccaneers -3.5, 53.5): I expect offensive fireworks from this game. Buccaneers, 34-30
Chicago at Green Bay (Packers -12.5, 43): The Packers defense has been playing well at home. Packers, 30-10
LA Rams at Arizona (Cardinals -2.5, 51.5): With Kyler Murray back in this matchup, do the Rams have a chance? Yes! Rams, 34-31
