Forecast Week 16

Packers look to keep a hold of NFC top seed

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I hope you and your family have had a great morning of opening gifts and spending time together.

Now maybe my Forecast Week 16 is a gift for everyone as well after my Week 15 was the just rather blah!

I finished with a winning record with my Straight up picks with a 7-5 record, but my Best Bets could not get over the .500 mark after two winning weeks, going 2-3.

Survivor Picks continue to be solid with another 3-0 week. Hopefully my Survivor Picks helped secure your home league Survivor pool title.

A busy Thursday finishing Christmas shopping and spending some time with family I was not able to provide my Thursday Night Game, but it was probably a good thing since I liked San Francisco.

Onto the games!

(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)

Cleveland at Green Bay (Packers -7, 46.5 over/under): The Packers have be a force to deal with at home this season. Packers, 31-20

Indianapolis at Arizona (Cardinals -2.5, 48.5): Another game that should make for some exciting football on Christmas Day. Cardinals, 34-29

Tampa Bay at Carolina (Buccaneers -10, 43): The Bucs are hurting at WR, but Antonio Brown returns for Tom Brady. Buccaneers, 30-14

NY Giants at Philadelphia (Eagles -10, 40.5): These two teams are going in different directions. Eagles, 27-13

LA Chargers at Houston (Chargers -10.5, 46): The Texans have a lot of players on the covid list so the Chargers should cruise, right? Chargers, 31-20

Detroit at Atlanta (Falcons -6.5, 42.5): The Falcons are still in the playoff hunt in the NFC. Falcons, 27-25

Baltimore at Cincinnati (Bengals -4.5, 44.5): This game may determine who is going to win the AFC North. Bengals, 30-29

LA Rams at Minnesota (Rams -3, 48.5): There should be plenty of offensive fireworks in this game. Rams, 37-34

Jacksonville at NY Jets (Jets -1.5, 41.5): The Jets are riding a three-game winning streak in this series as the home team. Jets, 24-14

Buffalo at New England (Patriots -2, 43.5): I think Mac Jones will have to throw more than 3 passes in this game. Patriots, 21-20

Chicago at Seattle (Seahawks -6.5, 41.5): In this series, the Seahawks have seven wins and six of them have come at home. Seahawks, 24-21

Pittsburgh at Kansas City (Chiefs -8.5, 45): If Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce do not return from the covid list, I would expect a low-scoring game. Chiefs, 20-17

Denver at Las Vegas (pick’em, 41): The Broncos haven’t won on the road vs. the Raiders since 2014. Broncos, 20-17

Washington at Dallas (Cowboys -10, 46.5): The Dallas defense is the reason the Cowboys win this game. Cowboys, 27-10

Miami at New Orleans (Dolphins -2.5, 37.5): The Dolphins continue to stay in the AFC playoff picture. Dolphins, 23-20

Last week: 7-5 (.583)
