Forecast Week 17

A full 2-day schedule worth of games

It’s finally here for the few that made it!

This is championship week for the elite, but the season is not done for the rest of us NFL-crazed fanatics. We still have two weeks of the regular season to get in our fix of a full schedule of games.

There are games to bet and to play in DFS as the league schedule is down to just two days of action for the final two weeks.

There are 15 games on Sunday, including 14 on the DFS main slate, and the Monday Night Game features Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger possibly playing his final home game of his career vs. AFC Central rival Cleveland.

So let’s get into the games!

(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)

Las Vegas at Indianapolis (Colts -7, 44.5 over/under): The Colts are starting to get back key players from the covid list. Colts, 27-20

NY Giants at Chicago (Bears -6.5, 37): It’s going to be snowy and cold – just the way the Monsters of the Midway like it. Bears, 20-13

Tampa Bay at NY Jets (Buccaneers -13.5, 45.5): As a franchise, the Bucs have struggled in frigid temperatures. They get a reprieve for this January game in New Jersey’s balmy 58 degrees. Buccaneers, 27-17

Atlanta at Buffalo (Bills -14.5, 44.5): They are predicting for 2-5 inches of snow at Buffalo in the morning. Bills, 24-0

Arizona at Dallas (Cowboys -6, 51.5): Are the Cowboys peaking too early? Cowboys, 28-25

Carolina at New Orleans (Saints -6.5, 37.5): This could be an ugly game for the Panthers. Saints, 33-7

Philadelphia at Washington (Eagles -4.5, 45): The Eagles look to keep a grasp of the 7th and final spot in the NFC playoffs. Eagles, 17-14

Kansas City at Cincinnati (Chiefs -4.5, 51): This is an interesting game – the Chiefs have been winning with defense and Bengals have been so up and down recently. Chiefs, 31-26

Jacksonville at New England (Patriots -16.5, 41.5): Trevor Lawrence may want the season to end after this week. Patriots, 27-0

Miami at Tennessee (Titans -3, 39.5): If the Dolphins score 20 points or more, they win this game. Dolphins, 20-14

Denver at LA Chargers (Chargers -8, 45.5): The Chargers can’t lose to another sub-par team two weeks in a row? Chargers, 28-21

Houston at San Francisco (49ers -12.5, 44): The 49ers’ success rests in rookie QB Trey Lance’s arm and legs for the rest of the season. 49ers, 30-20

Detroit at Seattle (Seahawks -7.5, 41.5): I don’t think there will be any snow for this game. Seahawks, 27-21

LA Rams at Baltimore (Rams -5.5, 46.5): Rams get their chance vs. the Ravens’ depleted defense. Rams, 37-21

Minnesota at Green Bay (Packers -13, 42.5): I was just commenting last week to my wife as to how green the grass was at some of the cold weather stadiums. The grass may still be green at Lambeau, but it will be frozen at game time. Packers, 24-13

Cleveland at Pittsburgh (Browns -3.5, 41): I understand why the Browns are favored, but the Steelers will be motivated to send Big Ben out a winner in his final home game. Steelers, 23-20
