Can Raiders pull an upset vs. Chargers to make the playoffs?
It’s a shame I’m hitting a groove for my Forecast during the final few weeks of the season.
A season that seems to have gone by in a flash!
Last week, I finished with a 12-4 record for my Straight Up picks, but I still can’t get over the .500 mark in my Best Bets. It’s just been one of those years for my bets.
Enough of the chit chat let’s get into the games!
(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)
Kansas City at Denver (Chiefs -10.5, 45 over/under): The Chiefs still have a shot at the AFC top seed with a win and a Tennessee loss. Chiefs, 30-20
Dallas at Philadelphia (Cowboys -4, 44.5): It’s a good thing the Dallas defense stepped up down the stretch because its offense has an identity crisis. Cowboys, 24-21
Washington at NY Giants (Football Team -7, 37.5): The only thing exciting about this game is Washington will have finally have a new mascot name soon. Football Team, 23-14
Cincinnati at Cleveland (Browns -6, 37): Maybe the Cleveland coaches should have been starting Case Keenum sooner. Browns, 24-23
Pittsburgh at Baltimore (Ravens -3.5, 40.5): Can the Steelers keep their playoff hopes alive after Monday’s emotional win? Steelers, 20-19
Green Bay at Detroit (Packers -3, 44.5): The Packers are expected to rest some of its players after clinching the NFC’s top seed. Packers, 27-20
Indianapolis at Jacksonville (Colts -14.5, 43.5): A weird stat about this game: The Jaguars have won the last 6 matchups in Jacksonville. Colts, 23-20
Chicago at Minnesota (Vikings -5.5, 44): This may be the last game for both head coaches. Vikings, 31-27
Tennessee at Houston (Titans -10, 42.5): With a win, the Titans clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Titans, 28-17
New Orleans at Atlanta (Saints -3.5, 40): The Saints need a win and a San Francisco loss to make the playoffs. Saints, 33-30
Seattle at Arizona (Cardinals -5.5, 48): The Cardinals need a win and LA Rams loss to clinch the NFC West Division title. Cardinals, 29-21
NY Jets at Buffalo (Bills -16.5, 40.5): I think the Bills can cover the over 40.5 by themselves in this game. Bills, 45-20
Carolina at Tampa Bay (Buccaneers -8, 41.5): Tom Brady needs 488 yards to surpass Peyton Manning’s regular season passing yards record of 5,477. Brady throws for more than 400 but falls short of the record. Buccaneers, 34-20
New England at Miami (Patriots -6.5, 40): The Patriots need help from the Jets to win the AFC East Division. Patriots, 27-20
San Francisco at LA Rams (Rams -4.5, 44.5): The Rams claim the NFC West title and eliminate the 49ers from playoff contention with a win. Rams, 34-29
LA Chargers at Las Vegas (Chargers -3, 49): I think the Raiders’ win last week will propel them to pull the home upset this week. Raiders, 37-34
