Chargers-Chiefs matchup should lead an offensive inspired weekend
I know I’m getting old as I forgot one game last week (I left out the Houston-Cleveland game), but overall, my mind was in the right place as I finished with a winning record on my picks and Survivor picks.
However, my Best Bets let me down again as Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and the over in the Dallas-LA Chargers were all losers. I believe I was not the only loser in the Cowboys-Chargers over bet.
For the week, I finished with a 9-6 record, while the Survivor picks again went 2-1.
Always more games to pick and bet!
Onto this week’s games!
(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)
LA Chargers at Kansas City (Chiefs -7, 55): There should be plenty of offensive fireworks in this game. Chiefs, 40-35
Arizona at Jacksonville (Cardinals -7.5, 52 over/under): Kyler Murray is playing at high level for the Cardinals and should have his way vs. the lowly Jaguars. Cardinals, 30-17
Indianapolis at Tennessee (Titans -5.5, 47.5): King Henry returned to form and should continue vs. the Colts. Titans, 24-20
Baltimore at Detroit (Ravens -8, 50): I have a sneaky feeling the Lions keep this game close for a half – but which half? Ravens, 35-24
Washington at Buffalo (Bills -7, 45.5): I think Vegas is spot on for this contest until Josh Allen finds last year’s magic. Bills, 26-20
New Orleans at New England (Patriots -3, 47.5): This seems like an awfully high over-under for this contest. Saints, 24-21
Atlanta at NY Giants (Giants -3, 47.5): Someone will walk away with their first win after this game. Giants, 24-21
Chicago at Cleveland (Browns -7.5, 44): The Browns are dealing with a bunch of injuries on offense, and Justin Fields is making his first NFL start. Bears, 31-26
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (Steelers -3, 43.5): The team with the offensive line that holds up wins this game. Steelers, 17-14
Miami at Las Vegas (Raiders -4, 44): Can the Raiders’ defense make life miserable for back-up Jacoby Brissett? Yes they can. Raiders, 27-13
NY Jets at Denver (Broncos -10.5, 41.5): The last time these two met at Mile High the Jets forgot to bring their offense. Broncos, 23-0
Tampa Bay at LA Rams (Buccaneers -1, 55.5): The Rams were the early favorite for this game and I think the odds makers were correct originally. Rams, 42-35
Seattle at Minnesota (Seahawks -1.5, 55): These two teams should be able to go up the down the field on each other. Vikings, 31-28
Green Bay at San Francisco (49ers -3, 50): Did Aaron Rodgers and the Packers right their ship last Monday? Yes! Packers, 27-23
Philadelphia at Dallas (Cowboys -3.5, 51.5): I’m starting to think the NFL has a defensive problem. Cowboys, 34-31
