Forecast Week 4

Brady returns to Foxborough

I seem to be finally finding my stride in picking straight up winners – now I just have to find a groove in my Best Bets.

It’s been a slow start to my Best Bets as another 2-3 week has me hovering under .500 for the year on Thursday’s and the Forecast’s top plays.

Last week’s Survivor Picks were finally a sweep, going 3-0, while my Overall Picks were 11-4 for last weekend’s games.

This week’s games looks like they are going to be challenge as Tom Brady's return highlights the Tampa Bay-New England matchup.

Onto the games!

(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)

Washington at Atlanta (Redskins -1.5, 48 over/under): The Falcons have a six-game winning streak in this series – it ends this week. Football Team, 33-31

Detroit at Chicago (Bears -3, 41.5): This game has ugly written all over it. Bears, 17-14

Tennessee at NY Jets (Titans -6, 44.5): The last time the Titans beat the Jets in NYC they were still called the Houston Oilers. Titans, 21-14

Cleveland at Minnesota (Browns -2, 51.5): Why does everyone underestimate the Vikings at home? Vikings, 31-28

Indianapolis at Miami (Dolphins -2.5, 42.5): This could be another ugly game. Dolphins, 18-12

Carolina at Dallas (Cowboys -4.5, 51.5): Will the real Sam Darnold please stand up? Cowboys, 31-13

NY Giants at New Orleans (Saints -7, 42): The Saints are not 7 points better than the Giants with Jameis Winston as their QB. Saints, 23-20

Kansas City at Philadelphia (Chiefs -7, 54.5): Like I mentioned in my DFS story, Patrick Mahomes actually plays better on the road. Chiefs, 35-27

Houston at Buffalo (Bills -17.5, 47): This game is going to disappoint a lot of fantasy owners as the Bills spread the wealth. Bills 35-10

Arizona at LA Rams (Rams -4, 54.5): The Rams have an 8-game winning streak vs. the Cards, and the Cards tend to play worse in LA. Rams, 31-17

Seattle at San Francisco (49ers -2.5, 52): I think Vegas got the line wrong on this game as the Seahawks have won 13 of 15 vs. the 49ers. Seahawks, 25-23

Baltimore at Denver (Broncos pick’em, 44.5): The Broncos have won 4 straight regular season matchups vs. the Ravens. Broncos, 21-17

Pittsburgh at Green Bay (Packers -6.5, 45.5): The last time the Packers (1-5 in the last six vs. Pittsburgh) beat the Steelers was in Super Bowl XLV. Packers, 24-16

Tampa Bay at New England (Buccaneers -7, 49): QB vs. former mentor. I’m going with the QB in this game. Buccaneers, 27-21

Las Vegas at LA Chargers (Chargers -3.5, 51.5): This series is a game of streaks and the Chargers are currently on a 1-0 run. Chargers, 27-22

Overall record: 31-17 (.646)
