Don't be surprised if scoring is down as bye weeks begin
The bye weeks are upon us!
And with that, the margin of error becomes smaller for the Forecast in Week 6.
I continue to be successful in my straight up picks and Survivor Picks, posting 11-4 and 3-0 records.
But my Best Bets continue to be on the losing side during the weekend games. I finished with 2-3 record last weekend, but the Thursday Night Best Bet stays on the winning side with Philadelphia covering the 7.5 spread vs. Tampa Bay.
Now onto the games!
(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)
Miami vs. Jacksonville in London (Dolphins -3, 47 over/under): I don’t expect to see very much defense in this game. Dolphins, 30-24
Houston at Indianapolis (Colts -10, 43.5): The Colts seem to have found their offense last Monday. Colts, 30-13
Green Bay at Chicago (Packers -6, 44): The Packers are 9-1 straight up vs. the Bears in their last 10 meetings. Packers, 24-13
Kansas City at Washington (Chiefs -6.5, 54.5): The Chiefs have not lost to Washington since 1983. Chiefs, 35-27
Minnesota at Carolina (Vikings -2.5, 46): I think Vegas has the wrong team favored. Panthers, 17-14
LA Chargers at Baltimore (Ravens -2.5, 51.5): Whoever has the ball last in this game will be the winner. Ravens, 24-21
Cincinnati at Detroit (Bengals -3.5, 46.5): In the last five matchups at Detroit in this series, the Bengals have won. Bengals, 35-24
LA Rams at NY Giants (Rams -8.5, 48.5): The series has been filled with streaks, and the Rams are a 2-game winning streak. Rams, 28-21
Arizona at Cleveland (Browns -3.5, 48.5): It’s been 18 years since the last time the Browns won in this series. Browns, 24-17
Las Vegas at Denver (Broncos -4, 44): The Raiders are 5-3 in the last 8 matchups in this series, but how much does the Jon Gruden resignation affect the team? Broncos, 16-15
Dallas at New England (Cowboys -3.5, 50.5): The last time there were more than 50 points scored between these two teams in Foxborough was in 1981. Plus the Patriots have won the last six. Cowboys, 23-14
Seattle at Pittsburgh (Steelers -5, 43): These two have played 10 times in Pittsburgh, and they have combined to score more than 43 points just twice. Steelers, 20-14
Buffalo at Tennessee (Bills -5.5, 54): This is another game that Vegas has the over/under number set too high. Bills, 26-17
