Forecast Week 7

Kansas City-San Francisco matchup highlights schedule

Well, Week 6 was a schedule I would like to forget.

The 1 p.m. games were brutal on me as I won only 2 of them which lead to my disappointing 6-7 record. My Survivor picks were 2-1 with Green Bay losing at home to the upstart NY Jets.

My Best Bets were 2-3 with the Arizona-Seattle contest ending with the Seahawks winning, 20-9, in a game that had an over/under of 50.5 points. Of course, I was on the over.

Oh well, new week and new games.

Onto this week’s games!

(Odds are based on DraftKings lines)

Detroit at Dallas (Cowboys -6.5, 49 over/under): I’m not sure if the bye week will help remedy the Lions’ porous defense. Cowboys, 31-24

NY Giants at Jacksonville (Jaguars -3.5, 43.5): The Giants are the Rodney Dangerfields of this week’s schedule. Giants, 23-20

Tampa Bay at Carolina (Buccaneers -13, 39.5): It’s never a good feeling when you are a home underdog of 13 points. Buccaneers, 24-10

Atlanta at Cincinnati (Bengals -6.5, 47): This game has a sneaky vibe of a very high scoring game. Bengals, 35-28

Cleveland at Baltimore (Ravens -6.5, 46): The key to this game is a healthy Mark Andrews. Ravens, 24-20

Green Bay at Washington (Packers -4.5, 41.5): The Packers bounce after last week’s disappointing loss. Packers, 27-14

Indianapolis at Tennessee (Titans -2.5, 41.5): This may be the battle of the running games. Titans, 17-14

Houston at Las Vegas (Raiders -6.5, 46): The Raiders cannot overlook the Texans’ offense. Raiders, 33-28

NY Jets at Denver (Jets -2, 37): This game has ugly written all over it. Broncos, 14-10

Kansas City at San Francisco (Chiefs -1, 49): Will the 49ers show off their new offensive weapon in CMC? Chiefs, 30-27

Seattle at LA Chargers (Chargers -5, 50.5): I think the Chargers fix some of their offensive woes. Chargers, 29-24

Pittsburgh at Miami (Dolphins -7.5, 45.5): The Dolphins are honoring the 1972 undefeated team. Steelers’ chances of winning are at none. Dolphins, 21-17

Chicago at New England (Patriots -8, 40): The NFL primetime games have been awful this year. Patriots, 17-3

Last week: 6-7 (.461)

Overall record: 51-42-1 (.544)

Survivor Picks: Tampa Bay, Miami and New England.
