Big matchups in AFC North & NFC South divisions
I’m glad Week 7 is in the books!
The six-team bye week left a shortened schedule and I barely escaped with a winning record at 7-5. My Survivor Picks continued to stay on the winning side with a 2-1 mark.
But I’m most proud to end my recent slump in my Best Bets. I started last Sunday 0-3 (after going 0-5 two weekends ago), but the over in the Philadelphia-Las Vegas game and the under in the New Orleans-Seattle game put me on a winning streak. I’ve won three a row now with the lucky under in Thursday game between Green Bay and Arizona.
Onto to the Forecast!
Miami at Buffalo (Bills -14, 48.5 over/under): I expect the Bills to run their winning streak in the series to 7 games, but this outcome will be closer than the last (Bills, 35-0). Bills, 43-21
Carolina at Atlanta (Falcons -3, 47): The Falcons are on a current 6-1 run in this series. Falcons, 31-20
Philadelphia at Detroit (Eagles -3.5, 48): The Lions are have won the last three meetings, including two in Detroit. Lions, 32-30
Tennessee at Indianapolis (Colts -2.5, 50.5): The Titans have won their last two visits to Indianapolis rather easily. Colts, 28-23
LA Rams at Houston (Rams -15.5, 46.5): The Rams are a big favorite for a second straight week. Rams, 41-17
Cincinnati at NY Jets (Bengals -10.5, 43): The Bengals have only won three times on the road vs. the Jets, and the last time they only won 21-20. Bengals, 17-16
Pittsburgh at Cleveland (Browns -3.5, 42.5): This could be an ugly defensive game. Steelers, 17-14
San Francisco at Chicago (49ers -4, 39.5): It’s hard to believe that this series started in 1950 and the 49ers hold a slim 34-32-1 lead. 49ers, 20-14
Jacksonville at Seattle (Seahawks -3, 44.5): The Jaguars have never won in Seattle. Seahawks, 24-21
New England at LA Chargers (Chargers -4.5, 49): The Chargers may have a bad taste in their mouths after the Patriots demolished them, 45-0, last year. Chargers, 45-0
Washington at Denver (Broncos -3.5, 44.5): The Broncos are 5-2 in this series in Denver. Football Team, 23-20
Tampa Bay at New Orleans (Buccaneers -4, 49.5): These two teams played three times last year – the Bucs only won the playoff rematch. Buccaneers, 32-28
Dallas at Minnesota (Vikings -3, 52): With the uncertainty of Dak Prescott’s injury, this line has flip-flopped. I still think the Cowboys win. Cowboys, 31-28
NY Giants at Kansas City (Chiefs -10, 52): Chiefs have only won three times in this series and all three wins were at home. Chiefs, 35-30
