Allen, Bills continue Rodgers, Packers' 2022 nightmare
Week 7 of the NFL season seemed like an easy week to predict winners.
Boy was I wrong!
Even though I finished with a 9-4 record for the Sunday through Monday games, my Survivor picks took a beating as Tampa Bay and New England made stinkers out of game they should have won easily, according to oddsmakers.
My Best Bets still can’t get over the hump on a consistent basis. It was another 2-3 week for my Best Bets as I remain below .500 for the season. Hopefully, this nightmare of picking the wrong side of Best Bets ends this Halloween weekend for me.
Since it is Halloween weekend, all subscribers to my blog and whoever subscribes before Sunday morning will receive my DFS Cash lineup. Hopefully, it’s a Treat for you!
Onto this week’s games!
(Odds are based on DraftKings lines)
Denver vs. Jacksonville in London (Jaguars -2.5, 40.5 over/under): It’s final game in London this season, but we still have one more 9:30 a.m. game in Week 10. Broncos, 21-20
Pittsburgh at Philadelphia (Eagles -10.5, 43): If T.J. Watt plays and the Eagles come out sluggish after the bye, the Steelers could surprise. Eagles, 24-21
Chicago at Dallas (Cowboys -10, 42.5): Tony Pollard finally gets a chance as the RB1 and he won’t disappoint. Cowboys, 31-20
Miami at Detroit (Dolphins -3.5, 51.5): This game has the making of an upset. Dolphins, 31-30
Arizona at Minnesota (Vikings -3.5, 49): Expect another shootout. Vikings, 35-26
New England at NY Jets (Patriots -2.5, 40): I don’t think the Patriots have a second straight letdown. Patriots, 24-14
Las Vegas at New Orleans (Raiders -1.5, 49.5): Andy Dalton still has a little juice left in his arm. Saints, 37-30
Carolina at Atlanta (Falcons -4, 41): Another ugly game from the NFC South. Falcons, 23-10
Tennessee at Houston (Texans -1, 39): I wonder if the oddsmakers have forgotten what Derrick Henry has done to the Texans in their last three matchups. Titans, 27-20
NY Giants at Seattle (Seahawks -3, 44.5): I still don’t understand why Vegas hates the Giants so much? Giants, 28-25
San Francisco at LA Rams (49ers -1, 42): The 49ers have the Rams number during the regular season. 49ers, 24-21
Washington at Indianapolis (Colts -3, 39.5): Can Sam Ehlinger be the QB the Colts needed to use all along? Colts, 24-17
Green Bay at Buffalo (Bills -10.5, 47): All I hear in my head is "Nightmares of the night," from Dana Dane's 1988 song for the Packers season. Bills, 37-21
Cincinnati at Cleveland (Bengals -3, 45): The Bengals can win this game without Ja’Marr Chase. Bengals, 27-16
