NFL DFS Week 14

It's time to cook the right lineup for the big win

Last week we were close of finding that perfect lineup!

Thanks to My Top Plays at quarterback and running back, I had two lineups that reached the 150+ mark in DraftKings scoring.

Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts and Tampa Bay’s Bucky Irving led both lineups. Hurts didn’t have a big game despite having 13+ DK points at halftime. Irving was the opposite as he blew up in the second half to finish with 30.5 points.

Of the 23 plays I mentioned last week, 15 scored 12.5 points or more, which has us in the right direction to take down a GPP.

Don’t forget to check out my spreadsheet, and you can use the sheet for prop bets as well.

My spreadsheet can be found on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru

This year Patreon is allowing weekly trials. For $5 ($7.50 of IoS), you can check my spreadsheet on a weekly basis. And if you like it, you can get the whole month for $15.

Onto this week’s Top Plays:

My Top Play

Quarterback

Will Levis, Tennessee ($5,000, rostered: 6 percent)

Levis faces the lowly Jacksonville pass defense today. The Jaguars are the worst pass defense in the league, giving up 273.3 passing yards a game. The defense gets worse on the road, allowing 293.7 passing yards a game. Levis has quietly thrown 7 TDs since re-taking the starting role for the Titans.

Other QBs

Minnesota’s Sam Darnold ($6,100, 7 percent) is my second favorite play of the week. Darnold has also had a quietly good season in fantasy and DFS. He has scored 19.6 DK points or more in the 4 of the last 5 weeks. Now he faces an Atlanta pass defense that gives up 258.8 passing yards a game.

This week is a tough one to pinpoint a great GPP play so I will sprinkle some names I like: Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa ($6,300, 6 percent), LA Rams’ Matthew Stafford ($5,700, 4 percent), Arizona’s Kyler Murray ($6,000, 7 percent) and Philadelphia’s Jalen Hurts ($7,800, 9 percent).

My Top Play

Running Back

Bijan Robinson, Atlanta ($7,500, 13 percent)

Bijan is ranked second on my spreadsheet this week at the RB spot, only behind Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley ($7,500, 23 percent). But Bijan has more upside as the Eagles are expected to blowout Carolina. The big key for Robinson in recent weeks has been on the receiving end. He has seen 28 targets in his last five games and he’s rushed for 63 yards or more in 4 of 5 games.

Other RBs

Tennessee’s Tony Pollard ($6,400, 12 percent) joins Levis as a top play vs. the Jaguars’ defense. His role in the receiving game has him a top play this week as well. He has seen 22 targets the last five weeks. A trio of backups who will get starts this week gives you a solid group to fill in with some high priced plays: San Francisco’s Isaac Guerendo ($5,400, 26 percent), NY Jets’ Braelon Allen ($5,000, 16 percent) and Seattle’s Zach Charbonnet ($4,800, 15 percent).

My Top Plays

Wide Receiver

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee ($4,700, 4 percent)

I’m not sure why NWI’s rostered number is below 5 percent but I will take it this week. It’s the same theme with his QB and RB – the Jacksonville defense is bad. And Westbrook-Ikhine has been a TD machine as he has scored in 8 of 9 weeks, including 2 last week. Levis is looking for him in the red zone.

Other WRs

LA Rams’ Puka Nacua ($7,700, 13 percent) continues to be the alpha WR in the Rams’ offense. Nacua has seen 44 targets in his last 4 games and has scored 17.3 DK points or more in those 4 games. The Rams will be challenged to stay with the Buffalo offense and Nacua is the big key. Minnesota’s Jordan Addison ($5,300, 7 percent) is being a little overlooked this week by his talented counterpart Justin Jefferson ($7,800, 14 percent). Addison graded well this week in my spreadsheet and he is great option to fill in a lineup as a one off. Las Vegas’ Jakobi Meyers ($5,600, 17 percent) and the Chicago duo of D.J. Moore ($6,100, 10 percent) and Keenan Allen ($5,600, 10 percent) are all fine plays this week.

My Top Play

Tight End

Brock Bowers, Las Vegas ($6,500, 18 percent)

You might as well say Bowers is a WR in TE clothing. He leads the league in receptions with 84 and is fourth with 113 targets. Since the Raiders Week 10 bye, he has averaged 25.1 DK points as he has seen a 25.1 target share for the season. Bowers may be expensive but he is worth it vs. the Tampa Bay pass defense (30th, 258.3 yards).

Other TEs

Arizona’s Trey McBride ($6,100, 9 percent) and Philadelphia’s Greg Calcaterra ($3,500, 4 percent) graded well on my spreadsheet. McBride has had back-to-back 12 receptions which included a game vs. Seattle. Calcaterra steps into the Eagles’ productive TE role with a nice DK salary this week.

Tennessee ($2,800) home against Jacksonville
