Let's make the final regular season week a banger
We are finally at the sad end of NFL regular season!
We shouldn’t be too sad as the final week of the schedule will allow us to pinpoint the right games with so many meaningless matchups.
If you followed last week, you should have had a solid weekend. Baker Mayfield (37.56 DraftKings points), Tyjae Spears (13.3), Justin Jefferson (17.2) and Chig Okonkwo (10.9) gave you a solid floor to start your lineups last week.
There are two games this week my spreadsheet has picked to target as high-scoring games – Carolina at Atlanta and San Francisco at Arizona. You can stack these games or use players from them to fill out your lineups.
The spreadsheet will be included at the bottom of my story the rest of the season.
Onto this week’s Top Plays:
Quarterback
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay ($7,000, 12 percent rostered)
I’m going back to Baker again after his smash week vs. Carolina. Now he faces New Orleans’ 27th-ranked pass defense in a must-win game. It’s a simple game plan – win the Bucs take the NFC South Division title. And Baker has been up to the challenge all season. He’s has 28.73 DK points during the last month games and it shouldn’t change today.
Running Back
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis ($8,200, 12 percent)
I’m surprised that Taylor is only rostered in 12 percent of lineups despite coming off of two 30-plus DK points the last two weeks. Now he faces a Jacksonville run defense that gives up 129.8 rushing yards a game this season. The Jaguars give up the second most DK points to RBs this season as well at 27.4 points a game.
Wide Receiver
Mike Evans, Tampa Bay ($8,000, 20 percent)
If I’m using Mayfield, I’m using Evans as well. Big Mike is 85 yards away from surpassing 1,000 receiving yards to keep his streak alive since entering the league in 2014. Plus, he’s been a target hog the last 3 weeks with 28 targets in must-win games for the Bucs.
Tight End
Foster Moreau, New Orleans ($3,200, 3 percent)
You see how my Tampa Bay stacks are going with my top plays. Moreau may not put up big numbers but he has scored twice in the last three weeks in the Saints’ depleted offense. The Buccaneers give up 20.6 DK points to tight ends this season.
DST
Houston ($2,800) at Tennessee
LA Chargers ($3,500) at Las Vegas
