Let's get to some winning ways
It was a very sloppy start to my DFS cash game season.
Thank goodness I had a few solid GPP lineups that allowed me to be profitable in the NFL DFS Week 1.
My cash lineup only finished with 118.28 points, almost 5 points short of the green in my cash games.
But maybe this is a good sign as when I start slow, I finish the season strong. Let’s start that strong run this week.
Don’t forget to check out my spreadsheet, and you can use the sheet for prop bets as well.
My spreadsheet can be found on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru
This year Patreon is allowing weekly trials. For $5 ($7.50 of IoS), you can check my spreadsheet on a weekly basis. And if you like, you can get the whole month for $15.
Onto this week’s Top Cash Plays:
My Top Play
Quarterback
Jayden Daniels, Washington ($6,200)
Daniels may have not a great passing day vs. Tampa Bay last week, but rushing QBs can be big scorers with their legs.
Daniels has 88 rushing yards and two rushing TDs last week which boosted the first game of his career.
Now he faces a NY Giants defense that struggled on the road last season.
Other Cash QB
Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis ($6,800)
Richardson is solid cash option, as well, because of his legs.
He scored 27.1 DraftKings points last week and only completed 9 passes. He did have 2 TD passes but he added 56 yards rushing and another score.
But at least he stayed healthy after missing most of last season from an injury from his running style.
Sneaky GPP QB
Justin Herbert, LA Chargers ($5,800)
My Top Play
Running Back
Jordan Mason, San Francisco ($5,200)
Christian McCaffrey was officially ruled out Friday night and now has been placed on the IR. So this is Mason’s backfield for the next four weeks.
Mason’s price does not reflect his new role, thanks to the 49ers playing in the opening Monday Night game.
He had 29 touches in the San Fran’s win vs. NY Jets as he finished with 152 total yards of offense and 1 touchdown.
Other Cash RB
Derrick Henry, Baltimore ($6,700)
Henry was featured on the first quarter last week vs. Kansas City as he scored 7.7 DK points.
He scored 3.8 DK points the rest of game as the Chiefs controlled the scoreboard.
Henry should get on track this week after Las Vegas gave up 176 yards rushing last week vs. LA Chargers.
Sneaky GPP RB
Tony Pollard, Tennessee ($5,900)
My Top Play
Wide Receiver
Cooper Kupp, LA Rams ($7,600)
Kupp saw a whopping 21 targets in the Rams loss to Detroit as fellow WR Puka Nacua left the game early with a knee injury.
Nacua has been placed on the IR, and Kupp should see plenty of targets again this week.
Volume is king when making your cash lineup!
Other Cash WR
Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay ($6,000)
Godwin acclimated well to the slot as the Baker Mayfield targeted him 8 times the Bucs’ Week 1 vs. Washington.
Kupp played mostly in the slot last week vs. the Lions and we all know what that final result was.
Sneaky GPP WR
Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas ($5,100)
My Top Play
Tight End
Brock Bowers, Las Vegas ($4,400)
Bowers was one of the few TEs who were worth playing in Week 1.
Now he faces a Baltimore defense who gave up 6 catches on 7 targets and 71 yards last week to TEs.
Bowers led the Raiders with a 24 percent target share last week and Las Vegas is an 8-point underdog vs. the Ravens.
Other Cash TE
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans ($3,700)
Johnson is also in another healthy situation for TEs.
Dallas gave up 7 catches for 71 yards vs. Cleveland as week, and Johnson may be a key target for Derek Carr vs. the Cowboys’ pass rush.
Sneaky GPP TE
Travis Kelce, Kansas City ($6,200)
Top DST
Pittsburgh ($3,500) at Denver
LA Chargers ($3,400) at Carolina
DK by the Numbers

Other

RB: Alvin Kamara 22.0, Joe Mixon 29.8.
