NFL DFS Week 3

Let's build off my big Week 2

It has been just a strange two weeks so far in the NFL.

And I see it with my DFS lineups.

I was profitable in Week 1 without hitting my cash lineup, but in Week 2, my cash lineup crushed but it was an unprofitable week overall.

It doesn’t make sense so far.

But there was no sweat last week with my cash lineup as I finished with 147.04 points. I had five fire emojis thanks to Jordan Mason, Chris Godwin, Brock Bowers, James Conner and the Steelers DST.

Let’s see if we can make it two straight weeks!

Don’t forget to check out my spreadsheet, and you can use the sheet for prop bets as well.

My spreadsheet can be found on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru

This year Patreon is allowing weekly trials. For $5 ($7.50 of IoS), you can check my spreadsheet on a weekly basis. And if you like, you can get the whole month for $15.

Onto this week’s Top Cash Plays:

Quarterback

My Top Play

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore ($7,500)

Jackson is currently on his best pace for passing yards to start the season.

He’s currently averaging 260 passing yards, but it’s still his rushing upside that makes him special.

Jackson has rushed for 167 yards this season, and may need to use his legs against the Cowboys pass rush.

This game has a close spread (Baltimore -1) and high total (47.5) so we should see a high-scoring competitive game.

Other Cash QB

Kyler Murray, Arizona ($6,900)

Murray has been solid the first two weeks of the season, averaging 21.9 DraftKings points.

Now he faces a Detroit defense that has struggled against the pass this season. The Lions are 27th vs. QB in DK scoring.

Murray also using his legs again, averaging 58 rushing yards so far.

Sneaky GPP QB

Brock Purdy, San Francisco ($6,000)

Running Back

My Top Play

Jordan Mason, San Francisco ($6,200)

Mason will be chalky again but we can’t ignore the opportunities he will receiving in the 49rers depleted offense. That’s why I’m going right back to him for My Top Play at RB.

He has touched the ball 20-plus times in both games and is averaging 22.8 DK points this season.

San Francisco offense will be without Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle for their matchup vs. NFC West rival LA Rams.

Other Cash RB

Alvin Kamara, New Orleans ($7,500)

Kamara is playing in the best in the offense in the league through two games, and he is the offensive leader.

He has rushed for 198 yards, has 7 receptions for another 92 yards and scored 5 TDs in two games.

Now he faces a Philadelphia defense that has allowed 29.9 points a game in their last 10.

Sneaky GPP RB

De’Von Achane, Miami ($7,000)

Wide Receiver

My Top Play

DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia ($6,900)

Smith’s price should be at least $7,500 with A.J. Brown out of the lineup.

Smith has seen 5 or more targets in 13 of 18 games without Brown, and he saw 10 targets last week.

He is averaging 18 DK points in two games and may see a jump in targets and points in a competitive game vs. New Orleans.

Other Cash WR

Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay ($6,500)

Godwin has been the focal point of the Buccaneers’ passing game from his slot position.

He has caught 15 of 16 targets this season and is averaging 25.0 DK points.

And he should not see Denver top cover corner Patrick Surtain this week.

Sneaky GPP WR

D.J. Moore, Chicago ($6,700)

Tight End

My Top Play

Erick Saubert, San Francisco ($2,500)

Saubert is replacing Kittle, who came up with a hamstring injury during practice this week.

Saubert saw 37 percent snap share in Week 2 and hauled in both of his targets for 26 yards.

Purdy loves throwing to his tight end, and the Rams just gave up 6 catches on 6 targets for 67 yards to Trey McBride last week.

Other Cash TE

Brock Bowers, Las Vegas ($5,400)

Bowers has seen 24 percent target share and has hauled in 15 catches on 17 targets.

His 15.3 point average only trails Isaiah Likely’s 16.9 average for top DK tight end scoring on the main slate.

Now he faces a Carolina defense that is ranked 30th out of 32 vs. DK tight end scoring.

Sneaky GPP TE

Jonnu Smith, Miami ($3,400)
