NFL DFS Week 4

There's always a new week to start a run

It was a dreadful week for my cash lineup, and my GPP lineups were close behind.

I finished with 99.08 points in my cash lineup as Lamar Jackson was my only fire emoji with 25.98 points.

I was able to stack Jackson with Derrick Henry for my best GPP lineup (159.48). But that lineup also had Jauan Jennings and his 49.5 points.

At least there’s always next week in DFS and this week could be a nice weekend, according to some early builds from my spreadsheet.

Don’t forget to check out my spreadsheet, and you can use the sheet for prop bets as well.

My spreadsheet can be found on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru

This year Patreon is allowing weekly trials. For $5 ($7.50 of IoS), you can check my spreadsheet on a weekly basis. And if you like, you can get the whole month for $15.

Onto this week’s Top Cash Plays:

My Top Play

Quarterback

Jayden Daniels, Washington ($6,500)

It was tough choice between Daniels and Kyler Murray ($6,800) as My Top Play, but I’ll take the $300 discount and better rushing upside of Daniels.

Daniels has been the best rookie of the season so far, and his play on the field speaks volume why the Commanders are 2-1.

He finally threw his first TD passes last week and continues to be big threat in the red zone with his legs. He has rushed for 171 yards and 3 TDs this season.

Other Cash QB

Kyler Murray, Arizona ($6,800)

This one is pretty easy as Washington has a historically bad defense through three games despite their winning record.

Murray has scored at least 15.2 points in every game this season and has 161 rushing yards for the season. However, unlike Daniels, Murray has no rushing TDs.

He will be without TE Trey McBride this week, but he still has rookie WR Marvin Harrison Jr. ($7,500) and a sneaky Michael Wilson ($4,200) to throw to.

Sneaky GPP QB

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia ($7,200)

My Top Play

Running Back

Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia ($8,000)

I know he’s expensive, but his usage is off the charts this season.

Plus, add in the fact DeVonta Smith has been ruled out and A.J. Brown is very questionable, Barkley will be in line to get at 20 touches like he has done in each game this season.

He is averaging more than 100 rushing yards a game, has 10 catches and 5 total TDs.

Other Cash RB

Najee Harris, Pittsburgh ($5,600)

Harris doesn’t put up any impressive DFS games, but it is the workload he will have this weekend that makes the difference.

Jaylen Warren has been ruled out vs. Indianapolis and Cordarrelle Patterson is his only backup.

Harris can carry a heavy workload when it is needed, but don’t expect any 30-yard run or catches to boost his stat sheets.

But he will get 20 touches in this game as the Steelers continue to ride their elite defense.

Sneaky GPP RB

Aaron Jones, Minnesota ($6,700)

My Top Play

Wide Receiver

Stefon Diggs, Houston ($6,600)

I had not be a fan of the Houston WRs all season until now.

Tank Dell is missing Sunday’s game with a chest injury, which opens the door for Diggs and Nico Collins ($7,200) to see more work.

Plus, it helps that C.J. Stroud ($7,000) has feasted on bad defenses last year. Stroud averaged 29.04 fantasy points a game in five home starts vs. bottom 10 pass defenses in 2023.

Other Cash WR

Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona ($7,500)

Like I mention earlier with Murray, the Washington defense is REALLY bad.

Enough said!

Sneaky GPP WR

Rome Odunze, Chicago ($5,200)

My Top Play

Tight End

Elijah Higgins, Arizona ($3,100)

This is a common trend this week – the Washington defense BAD!

Plus, Higgins is next in line to replace the injured McBride.

Other Cash TE

Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia ($5,100)

Injuries are the big key with Goedert.

If Brown plays, Goedert expectations should be downgraded some, but I think Brown may be on a snap count if he does play.

Sneaky GPP TE

Kyle Pitts, Atlanta ($4,800)

Top DST

NY Jets ($3,700) home against Denver
