NFL DFS Week 7

Juicy matchups setting up for big week

The struggles continue with my cash lineup builds.

Even with this week’s build, I feel a little uneasy. But I do love the process even though the results have been less than spectacular this season.

Last week I finished with 130.82 points with my cash lineup. It hit the green in half my cash tournaments as the cutline hovered in the 130 to 131 range.

This week has some favorable matchups which should lead to a more successful week, but as the NFL has shown this year, nothing is a given.

Don’t forget to check out my spreadsheet, and you can use the sheet for prop bets as well.

My spreadsheet can be found on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru

This year Patreon is allowing weekly trials. For $5 ($7.50 of IoS), you can check my spreadsheet on a weekly basis. And if you like, you can get the whole month for $15.

Onto this week’s Top Cash Plays:

My Top Play

Quarterback

Geno Smith, Seattle ($5,800)

Smith is just too cheap with the passing numbers he has been putting up this season.

In his last five games, he has averaged 45.2 pass attempts a game and now goes on the road to Atlanta. The Falcons are a 3-point favorite.

The only thing holding him back from having a big season has been the TD passes. He has thrown for exactly 1 TD in each game this season.

Other Cash QBs

Jayden Daniels, Washington ($7,600)

Kirk Cousins, Atlanta ($6,300)

Sneaky GPP QBs

Jordan Love, Green Bay ($6,900)

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati ($6,800)

My Top Play

Running Back

Kyren Williams, LA Rams ($8,100)

Williams may be small but he is mighty in real and fantasy football.

Williams is the best short yardage back in the league despite his diminutive stature in my opinion.

And he receives plenty of work (21.8 touches a game) and he has a nose for the end zone (7 TDs rushing and receiving this season).

Now the lowly Las Vegas run defense pays a visit to SoFi Stadium.

Other Cash RBs

Chubba Hubbard, Carolina ($6,500)

Tony Pollard, Tennessee ($6,300)

Sneaky GPP RBs

Chase Brown, Cincinnati ($5,900)

Trey Sermon, Indianapolis ($5,500)

My Top Play

Wide Receiver

Justin Jefferson, Minnesota ($8,500)

Jefferson just loves playing against the Detroit Lions.

In his career vs. the Vikings’ NFC North Division rival, Jefferson has averaged 134.5 receiving yards in 8 career games.

Plus, he’s dropped 141 or more receiving yards in his last three matchups vs. Detroit.

Other Cash WRs

Drake London, Atlanta ($6,900)

Juju Smith-Schuster, Kansas City ($4,000)

Sneaky GPP WRs

Cooper Kupp, LA Rams ($7,900)

Jayden Reed, Green Bay ($7,200)

My Top Play

Tight End

Grant Calcaterra, Philadelphia ($3,200)

For cash, I’m going with the cheap Calcaterra, who is replacing the injured Dallas Goedert.

The Giants have done a good job limiting the Philadelphia due of A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith.

And Goedert has pulled in 13 catches vs. the Giants in his last two full games which gives Calcaterra some upside.

Other Cash TE

Brock Bowers, Las Vegas ($5,800)

Sneaky GPP TE

George Kittle, San Francisco ($6,000)

Top DST

Buffalo ($3,500) home against Tennessee

Green Bay ($2,900) home against Houston
