Holiday schedule gives us a DFS doubleheader
What a mess it was in DFS last week!
All the supposed late game smashes fail to come to fruition, and not having Jonathan Taylor and his five-TD game doomed my cash line.
Even a late pivot from Dak Prescott to Patrick Mahomes II and CeeDee Lamb to D.K. Metcalf wasn’t even a good play.
It was a disgusting 84.8 points for my cash line and even my GPP lines only garnered $.20.
With the Thanksgiving three-game slate, it is like have a DH in NFL DFS. I’ll take it to try to get back on track!
I will be providing my main cash and GPP lineups (after early game inactives are announced) on my Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/fantasyfbguru
With the only a three-game schedule, I’m limiting my top cash game to $10 instead of the usual $25. I was would recommend the same especially if you followed or if your last weekend was similar to mine.
Onto our Thanksgiving day picks!
Quarterback
Top Play
Josh Allen, Buffalo ($7,800): He is the only QB on the slate whose floor is at least 15 points and faces a New Orleans defense that gives up more than 22 fantasy points to QB.
Value Play
Andy Dalton, Chicago ($5,500): Dalton gets the start with Justin Fields nursing a rib injury and the Lions lack of a pass rush should give him time to find open receivers.
Running Back
Top Play
David Montgomery, Chicago ($6,000): The Lions are the fourth-worse defense vs. RB in fantasy points and Montgomery should be a little healthier since returning from his knee injury.
Value Play
Matt Breida, Buffalo ($4,800): Since returning to the active roster, Breida has scored 26.7 points in his two games.
Wide Receiver
Top Play
Stefon Diggs, Buffalo ($7,900): He hasn’t put the big numbers he had down the stretch last season, but the consistency the last four weeks is good for a top cash play.
Value Play
Cedrick Wilson, Dallas ($3,500)
Marquise Goodwin, Chicago ($3,800)
Even if CeeDee Lamb plays, Wilson is a very sneaky play in GPPs, while Goodwin, if he is healthy, gives the Bears some speed to get behind the Lions defense.
Tight End
Top & Value Play
Dawson Knox, Buffalo ($4,400): Las Vegas’ Darren Waller appears back to his elite form, but Knox gives the best bang for the price this week.
DraftKings Cash Core
Josh Allen, David Montgomery, Stefon Diggs, Dawson Knox
Sneaky Stacks
Andy Dalton, D’Andre Swift, Darnell Mooney, Marquise Goodwin, T.J. Hockenson
Dak Prescott, Michael Gallup, Cedrick Wilson, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller
Last Week’s DK by the Numbers
Cash Core: Dak Prescott 5.64 (pivot Patrick Mahomes II 9.5), AJ Dillon 15.7, CeeDee Lamb 4.4 (pivot D.K. Metcalf 7.1), John Bates 5.3

RB: Christian McCaffrey 24.9, A.J. Dillon 15.7, Mark Ingram II 16.3, Jeff Wilson Jr. 6.8
