Waiver Wire Frenzy Week 11

Your waiver wire may have less competition

It’s getting to that time of year for fantasy football burnout for some!

Personally, too many leagues have me stressed some Sunday mornings trying to remember which players I have on which team or trying to get optimal lineups in for DFS after inactives are announced.

Others are at the burnout stage because their teams are on the brink being eliminated for the season in re-draft or best ball leagues. Dynasty league owners could be frustrated with their team or league mates who do not want to trade.

But along with the burnout comes the advantage to the smart team managers – some easy pickings on the waiver wire with less competition.

This week’s Waiver Wire Frenzy may have just the right player you need for a league championship run.

Onto this week’s top waiver wire players!

Quarterback

Tua Tagovailoa, Miami (23 percent Yahoo! Sports & 36 percent ESPN)

His rest of the season schedule could provide solid low-end QB1 numbers.

Mac Jones, New England (28 percent Yahoo! Sports & 14 percent ESPN)

Continues to be a solid spot starter or QB2 in superflex leagues.

Tyler Heinicke, Washington (17 percent Yahoo! Sports & 16 percent ESPN)

Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Cam Newton, Carolina (16 percent Yahoo! Sports & 13 percent ESPN)

Some are hoping for MVP Cam but mid-tier QB2 numbers would be fine in superflex.

Running Backs

Rhamondre Stevenson, New England (33 percent Yahoo! Sports & 29 percent ESPN)

Honestly, I think he is the best RB on the Patriots.

D’Onta Foreman, Tennessee (5 percent Yahoo! Sports & 2 percent ESPN)

Honestly, I think he is the best RB on the Titans.

Wayne Gallman, Atlanta (1 percent Yahoo! Sports & 1 percent ESPN)

Garbage time stats may have pushed him to the RB2 for the Falcons.

Latavius Murray, Baltimore (28 percent Yahoo! Sports & 24 percent ESPN)

Murray’s return is probably the reason for Le’Veon Bell’s release.

Matt Breida, Buffalo (0 percent Yahoo! Sports & 0 ESPN)

His return just muddies up an already muddy backfield.

Wide Receiver

Marcus Johnson, Tennessee (1 percent Yahoo! Sports & 0 percent ESPN)

Stepped in for injured Julio Jones and excelled.

Bryan Edwards, Las Vegas (18 percent Yahoo! Sports & 15 percent ESPN)

Has a TD in 2 of his last 3 games.

Kendrick Bourne, New England (7 percent Yahoo! Sports & 3 percent ESPN)

Has scored double-digit fantasy points in 5 of last 8 games.

Ray-Ray McCloud, Pittsburgh (0 percent Yahoo! Sports & 0 percent ESPN)

12 targets and 9 catches are hard to ignore if Chase Claypool continues to miss time.

DeAndre Carter, Washington (1 percent Yahoo! Sports & 0 percent ESPN)

Has a TD and more than 50 yards receiving in two straight games.

James Washington, Pittsburgh (3 percent Yahoo! Sports & 2 percent ESPN)

First-quarter TD was promising.

Tight End

Dan Arnold, Jacksonville (26 percent Yahoo! Sports & 28 percent ESPN)

Can we please get this man on more rosters?

Tyler Conklin, Minnesota (30 percent Yahoo! Sports & 38 percent ESPN)

Has seen 5 or more targets in four straight games.

Cole Kmet, Chicago (18 percent Yahoo! Sports & 11 percent ESPN)

Appears to be becoming Justin Fields’ top target.

Gerald Everett, Seattle (20 percent Yahoo! Sports & 3 percent ESPN)

The return of Russell Wilson helps a bunch.
