Startable talent remains for championship week
The final week for the Waiver Wire Frenzy is upon us!
It seems like this season, even with an extra week of fantasy, has flew by in a wink of an eye.
Well, if you are reading this, you still must be in the hunt for some money in your leagues.
Let’s get into the players and not waste any more time!
Quarterback
Trey Lance, San Francisco (12 percent Yahoo! Sports & 5 percent ESPN)
It appears Jimmy G. is going to be out for Week 17, and Lance could be a sneaky play vs. the Texans.
Mac Jones, New England (33 percent Yahoo! Sports & 19 percent ESPN)
Jones has good matchup as well vs. the Jaguars.
Justin Fields, Chicago (23 percent Yahoo! Sports & 21 percent ESPN)
Fields also has a good matchup vs. the NY Giants.
Running Back
Boston Scott, Philadelphia (15 percent Yahoo! Sports & 13 percent ESPN)
Jordan Howard, Philadelphia (16 percent Yahoo! Sports & 9 percent ESPN)
It is hard to tell who is going to be the lead back for the Eagles after Miles Sanders broke his hand.
Derrick Gore, Kansas City (2 percent Yahoo! Sports & 1 percent ESPN)
Gore will be at best a flex play because he will split carries with Darrel Williams. Gore will probably also be on the wrong side of the split percentages.
Dare Ogunbowale, Jacksonville (2 percent Yahoo! Sports & 1 percent ESPN)
The matchup is awful, but Dare will get plenty of work.
Rex Burkhead, Houston (14 percent Yahoo! Sports & 24 percent ESPN)
Who would have thought that Burkhead could be a league winner this season?
Wide Receiver
Isaiah McKenzie, Buffalo (2 percent Yahoo! Sports & 0 percent ESPN)
If Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis can’t return from covid protocols, McKenzie should be primed for another big game.
K.J. Osborn, Minnesota (34 percent Yahoo! Sports & 30 percent ESPN)
I highly doubt Adam Thielen plays this week after re-injurying his ankle vs. the Rams.
Allen Lazard, Green Bay (24 percent Yahoo! Sports & 16 percent ESPN)
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay (40 percent Yahoo! Sports & 15 percent ESPN)
One of these two should have a big game vs. the Vikings.
Byron Pringle, Kansas City (2 percent Yahoo! Sports & 2 percent ESPN)
Is this the breakout that was talked after offseason workouts?
Zay Jones, Las Vegas (1 percent Yahoo! Sports & 2 percent ESPN)
Jones has seen 24 targets in his last three games (17 catches).
Tight End
Cole Kmet, Chicago (33 percent Yahoo! Sports & 41 percent ESPN)
Kmet has been peppered with targets (37) in the Bears’ last five games.
Gerald Everett, Seattle (42 percent Yahoo! Sports & 17 percent ESPN)
Everett continues to receive quality targets.
Tyler Conklin, Minnesota (42 percent Yahoo! Sports & 43 percent ESPN)
Conklin’s up-and-down season may be on an up again this weekend.
