Jeff Wilson Jr. leads the list of top pick-ups
It’s time for your overreactions to be reflected in your waiver wire bids.
I will help with my weekly Waiver Wire Frenzy story to point you in the right direction of spending those important FAAB dollars.
The lists will contain who I believe are the best options at every position and their ownership numbers from Yahoo! Sports, ESPN and Sleeper.
Onto the frenzy!
Quarterback
Matt Ryan, Indianapolis (43 percent Yahoo!, 24 percent ESPN & 42 percent Sleeper)
Ryan continues to prove he can still produce.
Carson Wentz, Washington (14 percent Yahoo!, 17 percent ESPN & 19 percent Sleeper)
A four-touchdown, 300-yard day always puts you back on managers’ radar.
Daniel Jones, NY Giants (25 percent Yahoo!, 15 percent ESPN & 20 percent Sleeper)
Jones may be the beneficiary of Saquon Barkley’s revival.
Running Back
Jeff Wilson Jr., San Francisco (18 percent Yahoo!, 4 percent ESPN & 20 percent Sleeper)
Next in line for the 49ers’ workhorse running back spot.
Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh (5 percent Yahoo!, 1 percent ESPN & 7 percent Sleeper)
Najee Harris’ foot issues may linger the whole season.
Tyrion Davis-Price, San Francisco (3 percent Yahoo!, 3 percent ESPN & 18 percent Sleeper)
I think Davis-Price will be the better pick up in the long run than Wilson Jr.
Khalil Herbert, Chicago (41 percent Yahoo!, 25 percent ESPN & 47 percent Sleeper)
Better pick him up while you can.
Wide receiver
Josh Palmer, LA Chargers (21 percent Yahoo!, 36 percent ESPN & 29 percent Sleeper)
Should see an uptick in volume with Keenan Allen injury.
Curtis Samuel, Washington (6 percent Yahoo!, 8 percent ESPN & 12 percent Sleeper)
This is the role the Commanders’ coaching staff envisioned last season.
Devin Duvermay, Baltimore (31 percent Yahoo!, 2 percent ESPN & 20 percent Sleeper)
He’s worth a shot!
Kyle Philips, Tennessee (1 percent Yahoo!, 1 percent ESPN & 3 percent Sleeper
Nine targets are enough reasons to take a chance on the rookie.
Tight end
Gerald Everett, LA Chargers (28 percent Yahoo!, 14 percent ESPN & 35 percent Sleeper)
If he stays healthy, he could be a top 5 TE.
Robert Tonyan, Green Bay (24 percent Yahoo!, 23 percent ESPN & 34 percent Sleeper)
He’s healthy and a veteran – Rodgers loves throwing to veteran players.
Hayden Hurst, Cincinnati (10 percent Yahoo!, 20 percent ESPN & 22 percent Sleeper)
If the Bengals trail more in games, Hurst has a bigger role in the offense.
Kicker
Greg Joseph, Minnesota (at Philadelphia)
Cade York, Cleveland (home against NY Jets)
DST streamers
Green Bay home against Chicago
Cleveland home against NY Jets
Pittsburgh home against New England
