Waiver Wire Frenzy Week 7

Did we see just a tip of Wan'Dale Robinson's talent?

This week’s Waiver Wire Frenzy will have a lot of familiar names from last week as bye weeks and no major injuries will keep pick-ups to mostly fill-in spots.

It was nice to see Ken Walker III play well in his first NFL start, and hopefully, you didn’t have to break your FAAB bank to acquire him.

This week only a couple players will grab 10-15 percent of your FAAB to get them on your roster.

Onto this week’s pick-ups!

(Waiver wire options are based on Yahoo! Sports and ESPN player with less than 50 percent of ownership.)

Quarterback

Matt Ryan, Indianapolis (28 percent Yahoo! & 13 percent ESPN)

Hopefully, he has a better feel for his receiving corps with the Colts’ RB injuries.

Daniel Jones, NY Giants (31 percent Yahoo! & 27 percent ESPN)

He’s a quality No. 2 in superflex or as a bye week replacement.

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco (39 percent Yahoo! & 17 percent ESPN)

He’s not flashy but he can fill in nicely during your bye week.

Taylor Heinicke, Washington (1 percent Yahoo! & 0 percent ESPN)

Rookie Sam Howell will be there if Heinicke falters.

STASH CAN: Sam Howell, Washington (0 percent Yahoo! & 0 percent ESPN)

Running back

Rachaad White, Tampa Bay (33 percent Yahoo! & 26 percent ESPN)

He has played well as Leonard Fournette’s backup.

James Cook, Buffalo (27 percent Yahoo! & 31 percent ESPN)

Take note that Zach Moss was a healthy inactive for a reason – James Cook.

D’Onta Foreman, Carolina (5 percent Yahoo! & 3 percent ESPN)

If Christian McCaffrey is traded, Foreman will be the starter.

STASH CAN: Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City (21 percent Yahoo! & 12 percent ESPN)

Wide receiver

Alec Pierce, Indianapolis (39 percent Yahoo! & 25 percent ESPN)

He is the Colts’ No. 2 WR.

Wan’Dale Robinson, NY Giants (8 percent Yahoo! & 7 percent ESPN)

Robinson only ran 11 routes last week and had four targets on those routes.

Jameson Williams, Detroit (32 percent Yahoo! & 22 percent ESPN)

He has the talent but how long will it take him to adjust to the NFL.

STASH CAN: Skyy Moore, Kansas City (10 percent Yahoo! & 25 percent ESPN)

Tight end

Robert Tonyan, Green Bay (42 percent Yahoo! & 28 percent ESPN)

He has become a big part of the Packers’ offense.

Evan Engram, Jacksonville (36 percent Yahoo! & 30 percent ESPN)

He continues to play more than 70 percent of the Jaguars’ snaps.

Daniel Bellinger, NY Giants (3 percent Yahoo! & 3 percent ESPN)

He played 94 percent of the Giants’ snaps last week.

Cade Otton, Tampa Bay (6 percent Yahoo! & 1 percent ESPN)

He should be the starting TE again after Cameron Brate's scary neck injury.

STASH CAN: Greg Dulcich, Denver (2 percent Yahoo! & 0 percent ESPN)
