The Bills will win third straight vs. Steelers
It was a good start of the season for my predictions as Tampa Bay hit a game-winning field goal in the final seconds to defeat Dallas, 31-29, in the NFL’s season opener.
I successfully predicted the Buccaneers would win the game and my best bet of the Cowboys would cover the plus-9 points.
But now the real battle begins with a full schedule of games on Sunday and only one Monday Night game.
In my weekly predictions, I will provide five Best Bets and three Survivor picks which you can use at your pleasure.
Well onto the games!
(Odds are based on BetMGM lines)
Pittsburgh at Buffalo (Bills -6.5, 48.5 over/under): The Bills own a two-game winning streak in this series after the Steelers had won six straight. Bill, 30-24
Philadelphia at Atlanta (Falcons -3.5, 48.5): There should be plenty of offensive fireworks in this game with both teams lacking on defense. Falcons, 33-30
NY Jets at Carolina (Panthers -4, 45): The Jets have not won in Charlotte since 2001, but I heard some big money was being played on the Jets to cover. Panthers, 31-30
Minnesota at Cincinnati (Vikings -3, 47): The Bengals have a 4-1 record in their last five meetings of this series in Cincinnati. Bengals, 24-21
San Francisco at Detroit (49ers -8, 45.5): The 49ers will run, run and run some more in this game. 49ers, 35-17
Jacksonville at Houston (Jaguars -3, 45.5): Trevor Lawrence’s NFL debut will be a shootout. Jaguars, 38-30
Seattle at Indianapolis (Seahawks -3, 48.5): I have a sneaky feeling this game goes way under. Seahawks, 20-17
Arizona at Tennessee (Titans -3.5, 53): Neither team has a great defense in another game expected to be a shootout. Cardinals, 34-29
LA Chargers at Washington (The Football Team -1, 44.5): The Chargers are notorious of playing bad on the East Coast in 1 p.m. games. The Football Team, 24-13
Cleveland at Kansas City (Chiefs -5.5, 54): I don’t think the Browns’ run-first attitude will bode well vs. the Chiefs. Chiefs, 37-21
Miami at New England (Patriots -3, 43.5): I think Flores and the Dolphins will have something cooked up on defense to surprise NE’s rookie quarterback Mac Jones. Dolphins, 23-17
Green Bay at New Orleans (Packers -3.5, 50): This line has seen a lot of movement since it opened as the Saints as a 1.5-point favorite. Packers, 29-22
Denver at NY Giants (Broncos -3, 41.5): In the lowest total of the weekend, the Broncos D will force several Daniel Jones’ turnovers in an easy win. Broncos, 24-10
Chicago at LA Rams (Rams -7.5, 46.5): I expect the Rams to win easily, but the Bears will have enough offense to make this game go over. Rams, 31-20
Baltimore at Las Vegas (Ravens -4, 50.5): Can the Ravens overcome all their injury woes? Yes but it will be close. Ravens, 23-21
Overall record: 1-0 (1.000)
