Spreadsheet is heating up for the holidays
My spreadsheet was spot on last week, but my results do not show for it.
I finished with 119.66 points with my cash tournament lineup as I continue to struggle to put the right guys together in a lineup.
But my spreadsheet last week could have yielded a big payday for someone.
A lineup C.J. Stroud, Rachaad White, Kyren Williams, Tank Dell, Calvin Ridley, Michael Pittman Jr., Pat Freiermuth, Justin Watson and the Broncos DST would have scored 202.66 points, which would have brought home $100 in the $3-entry, $1 million Play-Action last week.
Every one of those players were in my Top 10 in their respective position groups last week.

Onto my Week 13 plays!
My Top Play
Quarterback
Brock Purdy, San Francisco ($6,100): This may become a running trend – play the quarterback facing the Philadelphia secondary the rest of the season.
The Eagles have allowed 277.7 yards passing a game in their last three games, and they are even worse in home games, giving up 293.6 yards passing a game.
Purdy and the 49ers offense are healthy coming into their NFC Championship re-match. Purdy has been averaging 279.3 yards passing a game in San Fran’s current 3-game winning streak.
Other Cash QBs
Sam Howell, Washington ($6,200)
Russell Wilson, Denver ($5,700)
Workload is key in DFS and Howell’s arm has seen plenty of action in his last 6 games where he is averaging 45.3 pass attempts a game. Howell and the Commanders are big home underdogs to Miami, and the game also features a total of 49.5 points, highest on the DraftKings’ Main Slate. Wilson has been playing inspired in recent weeks, leading the Broncos to a 5-game win streak after starting the season 1-5. He may not deliver enough DK points to take down a GPP but his consistency and uptick in rushing makes him a viable cash tournament play.
Sneaky GPP QB
Derek Carr, New Orleans ($5,600)
My Top Play
Running back
Zack Moss, Indianapolis ($4,600): The matchup is not the best, but Moss’ price and workload is hard to ignore as a free square in cash tournaments.
The Jonathan Taylor thumb surgery news came out after DK announced the pricing for the week or Moss could have easily been $6K or higher priced.
The Titans run defense can be stingy, but Moss is also a competent receiver out of the backfield.
The game has a 1.5-point spread which should keep Moss a viable weapon all game.
Other Cash RBs
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England ($6,000)
Devin Singletary, Houston ($5,900)
I believe the Ezekiel Elliott experiment is finally fading, allowing Stevenson to receive the bulk of the backfield work. Plus Stevenson remains active in the passing game (32 targets in his last 6 games) even with the Patriots’ erratic QB play. Singletary has become the Texans’ No. 1 RB and has averaged 20.7 DK points in his last 3 games. He has averaged 22.3 touches in the same 3 game stretch.
Sneaky GPP RBs
Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh ($5,400) or Najee Harris, Pittsburgh ($5,200) (Good luck picking the right one)
My Top Play
Wide Receiver
Tyreek Hill, Miami ($9,600): Hill has feasted on bad defense all season and now faces Washington’s bottom 3 pass defense.
The Commanders have given up 300.3 yards passing a game in their last three games. And Hill is averaging 120 yards receiving a game this season to go along with his 10 TDs.
We should expect another big performance.
Other Cash WRs
Mike Evans, Tampa Bay ($7,700)
Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis ($7,100)
Evans has made the Carolina secondary’s life miserable in their last six matchups. Evans has averaged 111.5 yards receiving in those games. Pittman Jr. has been a model of consistency this season, seeing double targets in 7 of 11 games. He has scored double-digit DK points in every game except one.
Sneaky GPP WR
Elijah Moore, Cleveland ($3,500)
My Top Play
Tight End
Brevin Jordan, Houston ($2,500): Another free square for your cash lineups as Jordan will replace the injured Dalton Schultz.
Schultz has seen 5.4 targets a game in his last three games, and if Jordan sees similar targets, he can easily smash his price’s value.
Other Cash TE
Tyler Conklin, NY Jets ($3,000): I’m going cheap with my cash TEs this week to be able to squeeze in some of the higher priced standouts.
Conklin has been productive despite the Jets’ poor QB play. He has caught 19 of 23 targets in his last five games.
Sneaky GPP TE
George Kittle, San Francisco ($6,200)
My Top Play
DST
Tampa Bay ($3,600) home against Carolina: The Buccaneers get to face rookie QB Bryce Young and the bad Carolina offensive line.
In Tampa Bay’s last home game, the Bucs face another rookie QB Will Levis and held the Titans to just 6 points and added 4 sacks.
Other Cash DST
Pittsburgh ($3,800) home against Arizona
Sneaky GPP DST
New England ($2,400) home against LA Chargers
