Forecast Week 11

Change of venue helps Bills in battle vs. Browns

Thank goodness for my weekly Forecast.

My fantasy teams have been on the good and bad side this year and DFS has my hair turning even more grey, but my recent run of picks and Best Bets have put a smile on my face.

I finished with another week better than .600 as I had a 9-4 record last week. For the year, I’ve quietly crept above 62 percent.

My Best Bets fell short of the perfect 5-0 week when Seattle and Tampa Bay started slow with the scoring in Germany. But I can’t complained with my first 4-1 record of the year.

The only downside to last week were my Survivor picks. I finished with a 1-2 record with them.

Onto this week’s games!

(Odds are based on DraftKings lines)

Cleveland vs. Buffalo in Detroit (Bills -8, 50.5 over/under): The record lake affect snow in the Buffalo area may have benefitted the Bills the most. Bills, 33-28

Philadelphia at Indianapolis (Eagles -6.5, 45.5): Don’t be surprised the Colts keep this closer than most think. Eagles, 27-24

Chicago at Atlanta (Falcons -3, 49): Justin Fields can’t wait to face the Falcons’ rush defense that gave up 232 yards rushing last week. Bears, 27-24

Detroit at NY Giants (Giants -3, 45): The Lions have struggled on the road this year vs. out of division opponents. Giants, 24-13

Carolina at Baltimore (Ravens -13, 41.5): This game has ugly written all over it. Ravens, 27-10

Washington at Houston (Commanders -3, 41): I believe Vegas got the over/under wrong on this game. Commanders, 28-25

NY Jets at New England (Patriots -3.5, 38): Cold weather and the Patriots’ defense spell doom for Jets’ QBs. Patriots, 23-13

LA Rams at New Orleans (-2.5, 39): The Rams find life without Cooper Kupp abysmal. Saints, 27-14

Las Vegas at Denver (Broncos -3, 41): Ugly offenses highlight this game. Raiders, 20-14

Dallas at Minnesota (Cowboys -1.5, 48.5): My man Boris believes this game is going under. I don’t think so and the Vikings stay lucky. Vikings, 30-27

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (Bengals -3.5, 40): I know Steelers are not as much in Joe Burrow’s head as the Browns but it is close. Steelers, 24-21

Kansas City at LA Chargers (Chiefs -5.5, 52): The Isiah Pacheco show finally arrives for the Kansas City. Chiefs, 24-21

San Francisco at Arizona (49ers -8, 43.5): It is so hard to bet against home underdogs getting 8 or more points, but … 49ers, 29-20

Last week: 9-4 (.692)

Thursday record: 4-6 (.444)

Overall record: 95-56-1 (.626)

Survivor Picks: Baltimore, New England and New Orleans.

Last week: 1-2 (.333)

Overall record: 19-11 (.633)

Best Bets: NY Giants -3, Pittsburgh +3.5, Detroit-NY Giants under 45, Washington-Houston over 41 and Kansas City-LA Chargers under 52.

Last week: 4-1 (.800)

Thursday’s Best Bets: 4-6 (.400)

Overall record: 28-32-1 (.467)
